WHAT IS TRADITIONAL USUI REIKI RYOHO?

Reiki is an energy which works with the invisible electo-megnetic energy field of the body. It can be administered through gentle touch, holding the hands over the body or even over distance! It is a truly remarkable phenomena, rapidly gaining in popularity here in the West amongst the layman and scientist alike.

Dr. Mikao Usui, the founder of this branch of Reiki was born in Yago in the Yamagata district of Gifu in August 1864. He travelled widely and studied many forms of Religion, Philosophy and Psychology. He was a very spiritually orientated person and during a 21 day fast on Mount Kurama, in Japan, he received the sacred Reiki Symbols.

Over the years these Traditional Japanese Reiki Symbols have slightly changed, having been passed down through the Reiki Masters and across continents. It is important therefore to take care in choosing your Reiki Master wisely as they will be your source of 'The Knowledge'.

Laura's lineage is 9th in line to Usui. She has been initiated and follows the Traditional Japanese form of Reiki. She has also been initiated with some powerful ancient Tibetan symbols which she uses in her practice.

Dr. Usui unfortunately passed away on the 9th March, 1926 in Fakuyama following a stroke. He was and still is sorely missed but his legacy still lives on through the line of attuned Reiki Masters, who pass on, through teaching courses his works and ideals.

C O U R S E S

General Course Information -

All courses are run by arrangement in small groups of no more than 4 people. Each day starts, (unless otherwise arranged) at 11.00 am and finishes at 6.00 pm. A light vegetarian lunch is served along with fresh mineral water, tea and coffee. Please inform me beforehand of any dietary requests.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING A REIKI 1 LEVEL COURSE?

Morning (starting at 11.00 am)

Introduction to the history of Usui Reiki Ryoho
Learning about the 7 Chakras, their colours and what they rule
Learning how to prepare to give a Reiki Treatment
Learning what the different Reiki sensations mean
Learning when to and not to give Reiki
Being given the 4 Attunements for Level 1 to open up the
Higher Chakras ('Hands On' from Laura)
Guided Meditation, giving a self Reiki treatment
Basic Grounding Exercise

Lunch (a light vegetarian meal)

Afternoon (starting about 2.30 pm)

Learning to start the Reiki Energy flow at will
Learning to Scan and to Aura Brush
Learning Reiki Hand Positions through practical experience
Throughout the afternoon giving a full Reiki treatment
(practical - practising on each other)
Learning how to balance the Chakras
Learning how crystals alter the energy (practical)
Learning how to conclude the Reiki treatment
Further Grounding Exercise
Learning about Psychic Shields and how to apply one
Meditation Exercises


Upon satisfactory completion of the above, the Student will be awarded a Reiki Level 1 Certificate

Morning (starting at 11.00 am)

Introduction to what the 2nd Degree means
Learning about the uses of the 3 sacred Symbols
Learning the 3 Symbols
Being given the 1 Attunement for Level 2 to open up the
Lower Chakras ('Hands On' from Laura)
Space Clearing Exercise (practical)
Crystal Cleansing Grounding Exercise

Lunch (a light vegetarian meal)

Afternoon (starting about 2.30 pm)

Learning Distance Healing (practical - using photographs Or person substitute eg: doll)
Full body Reiki Treatment utilising the 3 Sacred Reiki
Symbols (practical - practising on each other )
Learning advanced Reiki Techniques
Learning about the Radionic Pendulum
Learning how to balance the Chakras with the Pendulum
Learning other uses for the Pendulum
Comparing the use of the Pendulum with the use of Symbols
and the use of Crystals
Grounding Exercise
Applying the Psychic Shield
Being given further Meditation Exercises to practice
Given details of an Insurance Company for Public/Products
Liability and Malpractice Insurance


Upon satisfactory completion of the above, the Student will be awarded a Reiki Level 2 Certificate

WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE REIKI MASTER COURSE?

Please note that day 1 is not necessary if you have done Reiki 1 and 2 with me within the past 18 months.


DAY 1

Morning (starting at 11.00 am)

Covering all the theory as noted above in Level Reiki 1
and Reiki 2 above

Lunch (a light vegetarian meal)

Afternoon (starting about 2.30 pm)

Covering all the practical as noted above in Levels
Reiki 1 and Reiki 2 above

DAY 2

Morning (starting at 11.00 am)

Learning about your duties as a Reiki Master
Guided Meditation
Recapping any part of Reiki 1 or Reiki 2 that has
not been fully comprehended
Being given the 1 Attunement for Master
Level to open up the Crown Chakra ('Hands On'
from Laura)

Lunch (a light vegetarian meal)

Afternoon (starting about 2.30 pm)

Learning to give Attunements to others (practical)
Information about holding Courses
Details of Reiki Organisations etc

Upon satisfactory completion of the above, the Student will be awarded a Reiki Master Certificate

* Day 1 of the course is not necessary if you have done Reiki 1 and 2 with me within the past 18 months.


All courses are inclusive of all Course Manuals, Tuition and a light vegetarian lunch, mineral water, tea and coffee.
